TCM-Development consulting on planning for The UB Palace
Commercial Center project. The site identified for redevelopment
is located in the Bayangol District of Ulaanbaatar (UB) in Mongolia.
An area that is
an integral part to the modernization of UB city center.
The vision is to create a destination for the 1.2 million UB population
of all ages.
The project is planned as a Grade-A mixed-use project comprising a total
of 72,470 sq m consisting of a commercial center, other retail
facilities, entertainment, and serviced apartment including on-site
parking.
A four storey 40,120 sq m commercial center including a hypermarket,
retail, leisure and international food court and restaurants. The
entertainment and leisure section will be anchored by a modern
state-of-the-art 8-screen cinema that includes an IMAX format screen
providing the UB public an un-paralleled world class experience.
The 246 unit residential service apartment/ hotel tower will be 12 storey
with a total of 32,340 sq m GFA. The complex will also
contain a conference center, enclosed pool/bar/lounge and gym/spa
facility.
Total estimated project cost US$78.7 million.
